Why Pulse

All the good parts, none of the FOMO.

Facebook Events knows who’s going but feels like 2012. Partiful and Luma are fun to host with but stop at your own invites. Eventbrite has the tooling and the soul of a tax form.

Pulse is the one that does all three: the social ease of knowing your friends are out, the joy of a beautiful invite, and real organiser tooling underneath. Open it and the default question is already answered — what’s happening today, near me?

What’s inside

Everything you need to go out.

Discover

By location, category, friends & interests

Filter what’s on by where you are, what you’re into, and who’s going — your social graph and your tastes do the curating.

Default view

“Today near you”, out of the box

Open Pulse and it already answers the question: what’s happening today in your area. No empty search box, no setup.

RSVP

Effortless replies

One tap to say you’re in. Hosts get a live headcount; you get a tidy list of where you said yes.

Calendar

Calendar view + iCal export

See your plans on a calendar and export them — one-way sync to Google Calendar and Apple Calendar so nothing slips.

Venues

Venue pages & nightly lineups

Clubs and venues get their own page — DJ schedules, genres and the night’s lineup, so you know the vibe before you go.

Together

Event group chats

Every event can have a group chat, powered by the messaging backend — coordinate the night without leaving the event.

Hosting

Real organiser tools

Moderation, cross-event blacklists and ticket configuration — the tooling to run a real event, not just post one.

Private

Hidden attendance

Hosting something low-key? Turn off the public guest list so attendance stays between the people invited.

How it works

From bored to booked in three taps.

  1. 01

    Discover what’s on

Open Pulse to today’s events near you. Filter by category, distance or which friends are going until something jumps out.

  2. 02

    RSVP in a tap

Say you’re in with one tap. The host sees the headcount; the event lands on your calendar and in your plans.

  3. 03

Questions

The honest answers.

What is Pulse?

Pulse is an events app for finding what’s happening near you — discover events by location, category, friends and interests, RSVP in a tap, and keep it all in one calendar. Think the social ease of Facebook Events, the fun of Partiful and Luma, and the tooling of Eventbrite, in one place.

Do I need an account?

You can browse what’s on near you to get a feel for it. To RSVP, save events or host your own, you sign in with your OSN identity — one account across the whole ecosystem, no separate password to remember.

How do RSVPs work?

One tap to say you’re in. The host gets a live headcount, the event lands on your calendar, and you get a tidy list of everywhere you said yes. Hosts can also hide attendance for private events.

Can I host events?

Yes. Pulse has real organiser tooling — moderation, cross-event blacklists and ticket configuration — plus venue pages with DJ schedules and nightly lineups for clubs and recurring nights.

Does it sync to my calendar?

Pulse has a built-in calendar view and exports to iCal, with one-way sync to Google Calendar and Apple Calendar — so the plans you make on Pulse show up wherever you already look.

Is my data mine?

Yes. Pulse is part of OSN, where you own your identity and social graph. Personalisation data is yours to see and reset, and you opt into each app independently.
